The award-winning team at Barrow Electrical needed to revitalise their original trade branding to reflect their recent period of growth in becoming one of the leading electrical contractors in the North West.

The Brief

Our brief was to create a brand that showed new growth but that also stayed true to the original ethos of strong family values.  We held a series of workshops with Barrow Electrical to develop the strategy.

The Challenge

To create a modern identity with family values at the core.

We needed to make sure that the new brand had a strong focus on the family that started Barrow Electrical.  Our initial focus was on the icon for the brand, we wanted to centre this around the family at the same time as aiming at a high value customer.

With all this in mind we developed the ‘B-arrow’ logo, a perfect link between the family and the corporate world.  The image of the arrow pointing forwards shows everyone that this company is always advancing with new technologies and accreditations.
